You mean to tell me that a woman who has accepted spinsterhood and wants to be a business bitch is also unbelieving that a man could love her and her massive jugs? c'mon now. just a loooot of talking about boats and shipping companies and how the heroine wanted to be in charge but she can't because woman = no brain.Īnd the insecurities? ~throwing tomatoes~ and there wasn't romance in the meantime to make up for it. there was the premise and promise of a raunchy hook up that didn't happen until waaaaay into the book. i think my main issues were the pacing and the heroine's insecurities. i like a guy from the wrong side of the tracks meets spinster-who's- looking- to- fuck sort of tale. This one was kind of promising in the premise.
